A slightly more elegant and airier nose is composed by fruit that derives more from the red side of the spectrum along with spice and a more subtle earth component. The mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is again succulent and fleshy with good richness that is juxtaposed against a vibrant and lingering finale. This isn't refined but it's not really rustic either and a wine that should drink well after 2 to 4 years of keeping. (Drink starting 2028)
A dense dark purple. Very stylish on the nose, ripe but not overdone. Dark raspberry and quality cherry fruit, sumptuous, liquid cherry and raspberry, stopping short of jamminess. A little useful acidity helps the finish.
