Tasting Notes

Robert Parker, Bordeaux Book (4), December 2003

Black colour, with aromas of dry stone, violet, licorice. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a berry and dark chocolate aftertaste.

James Suckling, Wine Spectator, January 2001

Good, appetising bouquet and complexity. Quite warm and rich though not especially assertive on the nose. Well balanced but pretty aggressive tannins on the palate. Very drying finish. Thick, sandpaper finish.
