Tasting Notes

The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc comes from two parcels in Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet. It has an attractive, leesy bouquet, as you might expect, well-defined with a little more intensity than the previous vintage. The palate is well-defined, with a touch of bitter lemon lending tension. This has a pleasant sharpness and spiciness, probably destined to give 3-4 years of drinking pleasure. (Drink between 2024-2028)

Below Chassagne and below Puligny. Fresh clear colour, not reductive but nor is there much nose showing either. Lean and racy, grapefruit and fresh lemon at the finish, quite persistent, and now a little of the reductive aromatics can be seen. Pure and persistent.
