Yann Charlopin has 1.45ha in one block next to Clos du Roy: enough to make 36 barrels in 2018! I tasted seven examples in all to see some of the barrel trials that Yann is making. Overall, this is going to be a very good wine, with a Fine high purple colour, very well balanced fresh dark raspberry notes with excellent intensity, very classy fruit in the mouth and a few strawberry notes to finish.
