Much more subtle reduction allows notes of white orchard fruit and petrol to be discerned. The slightly finer though still robust and powerful flavors possess solid mid-palate density though the finish comes up a bit short as it's slightly drying. Given how good the portfolio of Chassagne 1ers is this year, my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that this will better harmonize once it's bottled. (Drink starting 2028)
