A fresher, and prettier, nose reflects notes of the essence of red cherry, plum and pungent earth. The supple, round and nicely rich middle weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the lingering and balanced finale that is shaped by relatively fine-grained tannins. This is lovely and a good Savigny villages. (Drink starting 2028)
Bright ruby colour. The nose here is sweet and fragrant, with polished red berries, baking spice and creamy cherry fruit. The palate has the same glossy fruit and slick texture, glycerol matching a light crunchy tannic belt that holds everything together. There's a hit of spicy wood, as can be expected at this age, but this is already drinking nicely. Very approachable, with a bright, supple finish.
