Some rancio and real tang and life to this. Baked-apple flavours. Lots of fun with a hint of liquorice. Very long. (JR)
Coppery mahogany colour. Some rancio on the nose, filling the aromas with nuts, dried fruit and salted lemon. The palate is vertical and deep, tangy with acidity and spicy in fruit. There is just a hint of warmth here but this is a long, lively, brilliant wine. Full of tangy acids, silky fruit and savoury layers from its maturation. Excellent.
