This too is sufficiently reduced to make it impossible to properly assess. The notably finer though slightly less intense flavors brim with minerality on the clean and bone-dry finale that is very tightly wound though I expect that it will come together relatively quickly. This is an excellent Meursault villages where the innate finesse of a fine Chevalières is very much on display. Note: from vines planted in 1940 Drink: 2026+
The vines date back to 1940. Attractive lemon and lime nose, more precision and more concentration than the others in the line-up. Excellent tension, white ripe fruit with a little bit of citrus too, fine boned despite the concentration. Very long finish in chiselled style. Tasted Jan 2021.
