Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle, Domaine Bruno Clair 2019

Tasting Notes

An elegant, pure and layered blend is composed mostly of cool red berries, rose petal and spice trimmed in an all-but-invisible application of wood. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension suffusing the succulent middle weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the dusty, balanced and solidly persistent finish. This needs to develop better depth, but the material is present for that to eventually occur. Lovely. (Drink starting 2031)

Bright red purple, not too deep, some energy to the nose, this is very pretty on the palate with some roses and alpine strawberries. Attractive long finish, quite a dainty style.
