6 barrels, one of them new, instead of 13. All destemmed. Attractive mid red, a certain density of fruit though with possibly a slight volatile note. More structure to this wine, more typical of earlier vintages. The fruit spreads well to the back of the palate, good acid balance and refined tannins. Dark raspberry to finish. Drink from 2026-2032. Drink from 2028-2032.
Tank sample. Light to mid crimson. Sweet and almost creamy on the nose, lifted by the tangy red-fruit aroma. Darker-fruited on the palate. Great balance between the fruit and the super-fine tannins with moderate intensity and excellent freshness.
