Bright, fresh, fruity, raw, real and varietal, a bouquet with a vibrant bouquet of raspberry and red apple skin, some white spice and flinty mineral qualities. Fermented flowers, lees highlights and violet. Dry, textured and taut with a youthful dried herb quality the core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. well made, lengthy, firm tannins and nicely complex. A wine that needs some cellar time still to develop and integrate. Best drinking from 2026 through 2034+.
Much to enjoy here. Raspberries and cream with a raw edge, lots of crunchy, vibrant fruit, the palate juicy within a lean (in a good way) frame, sapid with light, dry tannins; quite minerally on the finish. Ready for plenty of enjoyment now, you could chill it slightly, too. Fun, well made and clean.
The Natural State Pinot Noir is best enjoyed with a slight chill as this accentuates its fresh crisp nature. Our 2022 Pinot is incredibly aromatic with lush florals and bright red fruits. On the palate, it is ever evolving. It is a vibrant and fruitful Pinot Noir to start before seamlessly transitioning into a structured wine, reflecting its true identity and roots. Excellent persistence of length and natural acidity.
