The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru comes from a tiny 0.11-hectare parcel planted in 1957 just after the frosts the previous year. It has a very harmonious bouquet with orchard fruit, light honeysuckle scents coming through with time. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good concentration, fresh and saline with impressive persistence on the finish. Shame there is so little produced!
