Tasting Notes

A strikingly fresh, cool and pretty nose combines notes of citrus, acacia blossom and green apple. There is excellent underlying tension to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality that adds a sense of lift to the already complex, lingering and well-balanced finish. Lovely. 2028+

Based on how fine the 2021 Puligny villages bottling is chez Carillon, I would venture to suggest that anyone lucky enough to get offered a few bottles of his premier crus will be very well served to accept them! The 2021 Puligny AC is beautifully floral and precise on the nose, wafting from the glass in a blend of apple, pear, a touch of pink grapefruit, a lovely base of chalky soil tones, lemon blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and racy, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent soil signature, zesty acids and a long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. Drink between 2027-2055
