Dark and intense, the 2017 Taurasi Radici Riserva smolders up with a mesmerizing blend of crushed ashen stones, graphite, lavender and dried wild berries. This enters the palate lean at first, gaining energy through a core of tart citrus and savory spice as tart red fruits saturate the senses. The 2017 leaves the mouth reeling with a web of fine tannins and a twist of sour orange that puckers the cheeks.
