Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle, Domaine Rossignol-Trapet 2019

Tasting Notes

The 2019 Petite Chapelle chez Rossignol is a beautiful and absolutely classic interpretation of this superb terroir. The perfumed bouquet jumps from the glass in a blend of plums, cherries, blood orange, pigeon, a very complex base of soil tones, a touch of nutskin, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and already quite velvety on the attack, with a sappy core of red fruit, fine-grained tannins, excellent focus and grip and a long, balanced, elegant and soil-driven finish. Drink between 2033-2085
