Tasting Notes

With gentle notes of reduction and smoke, the 2020 Saumur Blanc Clos Romans possesses a deep, complex bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, exotic fruits and lemons. Medium to full-bodied, dense and satiny, it’s rich and powerful with a delicate phenolic mid-palate and a solar character that contributes to a thicker structure than typically observed.
