Tasting Notes

fullish red robe; the bouquet has a brambly fruit aroma that lingers, a little sweetness, a suave filling, perhaps a hint of volatile. The palate is tender in tone, nicely furnished with oily black stone fruit content, the tannins gummy, on suction. The southern sector of Rôtie prevails here – its ease of manner. It’s not far off being on the go. “Bassenon brings the approachability,” Julien Pilon. Bottled Dec 2022. 12.5°. From late 2023. 2034-36 Feb 2023 ***(*)
