A riper though still very fresh nose speaks of red cherry, earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The rich, concentrated and relatively concentrated flavors are rustic and serious. Millot noted that this was less damaged by the hailstorm and it shows as the finish is also a bit grippy but not drying or short.
