Tasted blind. Dense and savoury. Tannins just a little bit thick and chewy. Could do with slightly more lift.

Blackberry and chocolate with hints of flowers. Full-bodied, with silky tannins. Lovely wine.
Rather a weak nose but lovely balance on the palate - very ripe but with good freshness too. Not a long-distance runner but almost drinking well already! Just slightly simple.
The second wine of Ch Lynch Bages is very attractive at this early stage - very ripe and full and extraordinarily opulent on the nose. Spicy, almost brûlée then good freshness and broad palate spread. Neat, dry tannins on the finish. Very lively and bracing - a real palate scrub. Drink 2012-23
