Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Francois Bertheau 2017

Tasting Notes

The beautifully layered nose offers another small step up in elegance and a large step up in aromatic complexity and spiciness to the essence of red pinot fruit and intense floral influence. The intense yet refined and lacy middle weight flavors brim with minerality while remaining classy and gracefully largely thanks to the very finely grained tannins shaping the saline, complex and sneaky long finish. This is firm yet harmonious; indeed the word finesse is an accurate descriptor.
