Here too there is a discreet application of wood to the spicy red currant, floral and soft earth nuances. There is a terrific sense of underlying tension to the racy, intense and focused medium-bodied flavors that exhibit good detail and minerality on the beautifully textured finish thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins.
