The nose still reflects a bit of reduction that detracts mildly from the very ripe black cherry fruit aromas and I would suggest decanting it if you're going to sample one of these beauties now. The focused and powerful middle weight flavors are detailed and gorgeously intense and wrapped in a very firmly structured and hugely long finish. I do not expect the reduction to be a permanent issue and this should age for 20 years or more.
