Nuits Saint Georges, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget 2015

This too is wonderfully fresh with its complex if brooding nose of red and dark currant along with plenty of earth and animale hints. There is very fine concentration to the focused and intense medium weight flavors that are shaped by moderately firm but not really rustic tannins on the impressively long finish. This is very much worth checking out provided that you can allow it at least 5 years or so of age and it should reward as many as 10. 2023+
