Bold, concentrated and more structured than Cuvée Madeleine, so whilst sharing the same focus, Cuvée Stella has more chalky fine tannin and a touch more new oak. Fruits are darker and denser with morello cherry, currant and plum. Really needs a little bit longer to show at its best. Drink from 2026-2033.
Complex, deep yet youthful pinot with masses of spicy blackberry, black raspberry and ume plum flavours which soak into the palate. There is considerable tannic architecture here while remaining polished, building in weight and perfume towards the long, impressive finish. This has layers and layers of interest, tasting much younger than its age suggests. Serious and powerful pinot noir which will reward further time in the cellar. Drink 2025–2037
