A markedly ripe and acceptably fresh nose reflects liqueur-like aromas of plum, spice and floral nuances that are trimmed in a hint of mocha. The exceptionally rich, opulent and super-suave medium-bodied flavors possess first-rate concentration before culminating in an extremely firm but not really austere finale where noticeable warmth slowly emerges. There is much to like here but note that the warmth is not subtle.
