A highly perfumed mix of both upper and lower register fruit notes that include red pinot, plum and orange peel complements the highly complex yet reserved medium weight plus flavors that possess excellent power and weight. The buried supporting tannins are quite fine and I like the sense of energy on the impressively long finish. An unusually elegant Bonnes Mares.
