White currants, and fennel seed/licorice intermixed with ripe grapefruit, honeyed melons and a touch of new oak are all present in this fresh, medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, crisp, dry white Graves. Anticipated maturity: now-2025. Drink: 2012 - 2025
Tasted at a negociant. This is a perfumed, quite floral, peach and elderflower scented bouquet with good definition and lift. The palate is primal on the entry, showing good depth with grapefruit, apricot and some honeyed flavours towards the rounded zesty finish. This Fieuzal has some chutzpah for the vintage. Very fine. Tasted April 2010.
Tangy, with lots of lemon and other citrus fruit character on the nose and palate. Excellent density of fruit and good acidity for the vintage. This is going places.
Lemony, rather suppressed nose. Chalky, mineral finish. This is a slow burner. Bone dry and not at all flashy. Very promising indeed. Date tasted 2nd April 2010. Drink 2016-2026.
Very crisp and fresh with lemony acidity to match the vanilla, spice and cream of the palate. Finely balanced dry white wine.
Clear lemon yellow, lively and quite appley fruit, good freshness and good length. Drink 2012-15.
