Tasted at a negociant. The nose is well defined with wild raspberry, blackberry and wild hedgerow, a touch of complementary leafiness. The palate is medium-bodied, the tannins just a little hard at the moment but hopefully they will soften in time, though the finish needs more length. A very conservative sample from Ferriere - I hope this will broaden out through its élevage. Tasted March 2010.
