A stunning nose freely reveals its notes of red cherry, currant and raspberry liqueur along with a variety of pretty floral nuances. Here too there is a super-sleek mouthfeel to the naturally sweet and precise medium-bodied flavors that possess terrific intensity on the impressively persistent, linear and focused finish. Like several of the wines in the range, this isn't especially dense but the length is seriously good. (Drink starting 2035)
Picked first, so 60% whole bunches were included before Amélie realised that this wouldn’t work for space reasons. Paler ruby with a more orange tint. The whole bunches give their characteristic aromatics. Very stylish elegant wine, a little crushed alpine strawberry, not too peppery, with a long savoury finish. Amélie noted that she likes to use whole bunches for aromatic reasons rather than tannins and structure.
