Tasting Notes

There are a scant 300 cases of the 2021 Condrieu Coteau De Vernon, which won't be released for another year. Incredible aromatics of orange blossom, honeyed peach, crushed stone, and tart tangerine nuances all emerge on the nose, and this hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness carrying a vibrant spine of acidity, flawless overall balance, and incredible length. It's one of those rich yet weightless Condrieu that needs to be tasted to be believed, and it's incredible what this variety can do from a great terroir and in the hands of a fabulous vigneron. It will benefit from just a year or two in the cellar and drink fabulously well through 2033. (Drink between 2025-2033)
