Bright ruby colour with a lifted, intense nose of ripe strawberries, cherry drops and garrigue. The palate has pithy bite and a lively acidity to tame the very youthful red fruit at the core. Chalky but bursting with red fruit, there is a depth here that warrants a little bottle ageing before approching. After 12-18 months in bottle, it should drink well for a decade.
