A beautifully layered nose offers up notes of liqueur-like red and dark cherry, warm earth and a variety of floral elements. The exceptionally rich and generously proportioned big-bodied flavors flash good power and solid mid-palate density, all wrapped in a youthfully austere, long and complex finish that is also clearly structured for mid to longer-term cellaring. 2032+
Medium crimson colour, a little bit of reduction, slightly evolved in the way that whole bunches can introduce, cleans up on the palate and becomes more interesting. This wine shows the darker fruit and slight chocolate note that has been evident throughout the flight, but becomes steadily livelier in the glass.
