This beautifully elegant and cool effort combines high-toned floral and herbal tea notes with those of pure red and dark cherry, earth and spice scents. The overtly powerful and again imposingly concentrated big-bodied and intensely mineral-driven flavors possess a seductive and sappy mid-palate that contrasts considerably with the driving and massively long finish that is presently quite youthfully austere but I wouldn't expect it to last beyond a few years. This is a breathtakingly big and powerful wine and if you can find a bottle, plan on cellaring it for years if you wish to drink it when mature as it's going to need it.
