An even more restrained nose grudgingly offers up its aromas of equally cool Granny Smith apple, spice, carnation, acacia and lemongrass nuances. The lilting but almost painfully intense medium-bodied flavors possess a super-sleek and wonderfully refined texture while displaying stunningly good length on the balanced, dry and glossy finish. This is quite simply terrific and a wine that should also amply reward a decade plus of keeping. This effort of 'lace and grace' should be stunning in time. (Drink starting 2034)
