Chassagne Montrachet Concis du Champs Rouge, Jean-Claude Bachelet 2022

Tasting Notes

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis des Champs showed a lot of reduction compared to Bachelet's other cuvées, making the aromatics challenging to read. The palate is very promising, though, with well-judged acidity, pliant red fruit, black cherries and white pepper, plus veins of graphite towards the impressively long finish. This is worth keeping an eye out for. (Drink between 2025-2035)
