Barrel fermented with full solids, no mlf, matured in 20% new French barriques. A bright green gold. Aromas of orchard fruits, citrus and some light oyster shell scents add to the wine's complexity. On the palate, I really like the phenolics, which give the wine focus on the long, chalky finish. My score may prove to be conservative if this continues to blossom in the bottle.
