Another stunner from this iconic producer, Burlotto’s 2019 Acclivi opens with heady aromas of crushed mint, iris, perfumed berry and Asian spice. Smooth and delicious, the elegant and energized palate delivers juicy cranberry, cherry compote, star anise and blood orange before a tangy mineral finish recalling saline. Firm but refined tannins and vibrant acidity provide structure and balance. Drink 2027–2044.
