3.25 barrels made, from 45 year old vines. Rich mid purple, deeper and glossier than the Clos de la Roche. Oddly grainy tannins behind the very succulent fresh plum fruit, the oak is more apparent, indeed the wine seems less in place, a touch monolithic today but still lots in reserve.
