Ripe peaches and pears on the nose, with a sweet vanilla note and slight hint of smoke. Soft and generous on the palate, this is juicy and approachable. Full of stone fruits and just a hint of melon there is ample weight but acid freshness too, and a light smokiness that lingers on the long finish.
Gentle pressing then vinified and matured for 15 months in oak barrels (one-third new).
Poached pears and baked vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Primary, youthful and glossy on the palate. Builds in weight and structure, with good acidity and a light, integrated smokiness. Density and with a chalky, rich finish. (TP)
