Chevalier Montrachet, Bouchard Père et Fils 2010

Tasting Notes

A restrained, indeed almost mute nose reluctantly gives up aromas of acacia, citrus peel, wet stone and white peach. The supple and ultra-refined flavors possess a beguiling purity along with as much mineral character as the Perrières, before culminating in a balanced and harmonious finish. This is a very, very understated effort and it's going to require the better part of a decade before it unwinds to reveal its full potential.
