One of the greatest wines made in the appellation, the opaque purple-colored, full-bodied 2010 Crozes-Hermitage Les Varonnieres exhibits notes of truffles, blackberries, asphalt, barbecue smoke, pen ink and steak tartare in addition to abundant minerality.
