Mid lemon yellow. There is an attractive sandalwood note, from the barrel, with a classy fruit that shows adequate ripeness allied to the hillside character. A medium level of intensity and fair length. Drink from 2030-2035. Tasted Oct 2025.
A wine that oozes Meursualt from the start, there is a touch of pine nut and lemon over a base of bright pear fruit. Bright, juicy and lightly nutty on the palate, there is a richness of texture and tang of acidity together. This is still fine-boned, unsurprisingly in this vintage, but there is some oomph and spice that lingers on the finish.
