Lalou Bize-Leroy kicks the ball out of the park with this quite brilliant 1992 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru. It has a scintillating mineral-drenched bouquet that bursts full of energy (like many of the best 1992 whites). The palate is beautifully poised with flinty notes infusing the citric fruit, orange peel and even a tang of Seville orange marmalade on the livewire finish. Just brilliant. Tasted at the La Paulée in Beaune.
