A slightly riper and notably spicier nose reveals notes of acacia, apple and lemon-lime. There is again excellent mid-palate density to the almost painfully intense medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with sappy dry extract before concluding in a powerful and wonderfully long finale. The straight Meursault is lovely but this is at another level.
Quite pale in colour, tense and reductive in a way that Jean-Marc Roulot fans would recognise. lemony notes on the palate, then all the power comes up on the second half of the palate, white fruit, amazing purity and density with fresh apple to finish. Tasted: 10/1/2021.
