Three provenances from Petit Maupertuis and Quatorze Journaux, fine balanced purple. A solid, densely fruited mouthful, slightly dry finish, a relic of an earlier reductive phase. The fruit fills the mouth, a well-balanced Clos de Vougeot which will take its time to develop character – as they do.
