Benevelli's 2015 Barolo Ravera di Monforte is a pretty, soft wine that is likely to offer its best drinking sooner rather than later. Dried cherry, tobacco, mint, dried flowers, cedar and licorice are all suggestive of a wine that is on a relatively quick aging curve. The 2015 offers good depth in a mid-weight style that can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring. (Drink between 2020-2025)
