The 2014 Carla 6, La Massa's 100% Sangiovese, is fabulous. Super-expressive, bright and nuanced to its core, it possesses remarkable harmony and persistence. The dark red cherry, plum, mint and licorice flavors are beautifully delineated, and attractive floral notes gradually open up to add lift. This is the best vintage of the Carla 6 yet.
A muscular and rich red with tar, dark berry, bark and spice character. Full body, chewy and dense. Structured and tannic yet fresh at the same. Drink in 2020.
