La Fleur de Boüard 2007

Tasting Notes

Reference point wines for the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, the 2007 La Fleur de Bouard (80% Merlot and the rest mostly Cabernet Franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon) exhibits abundant notes of caramelized black cherries, licorice, mocha, and berry fruit in a lush, medium to full-bodied, richly fruity style. It is meant to be consumed over the next 4-5 years. Drink 2010-2015.

Sweet, even slightly red, fruit. Soft and chocolaty on the palate with a dark spicy kick at the end. Just slightly drying on the finish. (JH). Drink 2011 -2017

Violets give the fragrance, bramble and plum the fruit, the mix showing charm on both nose and palate. Rich and fleshy in the middle the sweetness well balanced by some red fruit freshness
