Ancient vines from 1942. Pale yellow colour. The nose has an admirably fresh quality, the power builds behind, a light trace of lime, pretty weighty, maybe more character in Porusot, but this does not stop building in its quiet way.
Less smoky and more subtle on the nose than Le Porusot. Still a touch reductive but more creamy stone fruits. Deep and generous and yet mouth-watering to balance. Fabulous intensity on the mid palate and then lightens up on the finish to more elegance and delicacy. Drink: 2023-2030.
