Tasting Notes

The Solessence Rosé is made by blending 85% Solessence with 10% infused Meunier and 5% Pinot Noir Coteaux Champenois. Based on the 2020 vintage, it contains 40% reserve wine and has the same 2g/l dosage as the white. Prodcued in small volumes, roughly 7500 bottles a year. Very pale baby pink in colour, the nose here is vibrant, juicy and fine with notes of white strabwerry and white peach, together with hints of citrus peel and white flowers. The palate shows more brioche and biscuit tones, but again focuses on delicate red fruits and fine stone fruits. Lightly creamy in mousse, this is a dry, zesty rosé that is a pleasure to drink. Supple in fruit yet vibrant in structure, it has a long, fine finish.
